AI Room Decor

Claude MCP Integration

Use Room AI inside Claude

Attach a photo of any room, ask Claude to redesign it, and get the result inline. Works in Claude web, mobile, and desktop.

Your MCP server URL

Paste this URL into Claude when adding a custom connector.

How to set it up (1 minute)

  1. 1

    Add the connector in Claude

In any Claude app: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Paste the URL above. Leave OAuth Client ID and Secret blank — Claude will discover everything it needs automatically.

  2. 2

Sign in with your Room AI account

Claude will bounce you to Room AI to sign in (Google or email) and approve access. Approve once — your Claude apps stay connected forever, until you revoke access.

  3. 3

    Try it

Attach a photo of a room and ask, for example:

Redesign this living room in a Japandi style — minimal furniture, warm wood tones.

Claude will call the redesign_room tool and return the AI-generated image inline. Takes 10–30 seconds.

What it costs

Each redesign uses 1 token from your normal Room AI balance — the same as using the tool on the website. New accounts get free tokens to try it. Top up anytime on the pricing page.

FAQ

Which Claude apps support this?

All of them — Claude web (claude.ai), Claude Desktop (Mac/Windows), and Claude mobile (iOS/Android). Free-tier users are limited to one custom connector at a time; paid plans have no limit.

Is my photo private?

Your photo is uploaded to your private Room AI workspace, processed by our AI model, and the temporary upload is auto-deleted within 24 hours. We do not train models on your images.

Can I use this from my own code?

Yes — generate a Room AI API key on the developer page and call our REST API directly at /api/v1/generate. The same key also works as a bearer token when calling our MCP server programmatically (e.g., via the Claude API's mcp_servers config or MCP Inspector). See the docs.

Ready to try it?
